Peru table grape exports grew by 40% to $ 544 million

From January to November 2018, growers and suppliers of Peru have exported table grapes worth $ 544 million, which is 40% more than in 2017. Such a season was summed up by the Association of Exporters of Peru.

“It is important for us to unite organizations. If alliances are strengthened, we will be able to increase the competitiveness of Peruvian fruit producers”, said the president of the association, Juan Varilias Velasquez. quoted the expert as saying that that investments in the campaign to promote fruit of Peru have recently reached a record level.

It is emphasized that the most table grapes from Peru were supplied to the United States of America - 174 million dollars and the Netherlands - 107 million dollars. These countries are followed by Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, China, South Korea, Mexico, Germany, Spain and Russia.
