Russia sends back Chilean salmon

Cargo of 19.2 tonnes of Chilean salmon did not have right paperwork, say Russian authorities.

Russian veterinary authority Rosselkhoznadzor sent back a truck of Chilean frozen salmon because it said it did not have the right paperwork, reports Fontanka.

Over 19 tonnes cargo of fish were apprehended in St. Petersburg and had travelled to Russia from the Magallanes, southern Chile, in mid January. It was forced to make the return trip back.
