Russian watchdog to ban feedstuff import from Ukraine due to GMO

Russian veterinary and phytosanitary watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor will ban import of feedstuff from Ukraine from August 1 because of identified unregistered gene-modified component.

Ab, official spokesperson of the regulator Yuliya Melano told that TASS.

"Rosselkhoznadzor introduces temporary restrictions on supply of feedstuff and feed additives for animals produced by Ukrainian enterprises to prevent penetration of products unsafe in veterinarian-sanitary aspects to the Russian territory from August 1, 2016," Melano said.
