On July 6, 2022, the export of a batch of white beet crystalline sugar (29.9 tons) was stopped at the FKP Russko-Polyansky. The batch of sugar was exported according to the documents for mineral fertilizer (urea), was packed in white polypropylene bags with the inscription "Urea" (grade B).
During a visual inspection of the cargo compartment of the car, spills of sugar and a marking label were found on the floor, indicating that there was sugar in the bag. When randomly checking the contents of other bags, the presence of sugar in them was confirmed.
There were no documents for the exported batch of sugar. The party was detained, the Omsk customs is investigating this fact.
In addition, specialists from the territorial Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor at the Isilkul automobile and railway checkpoints prevented the export of about 34 tons of sugar from June 30 to July 8, 2022.
In one case, products were exported according to documents for wheat flour: bags of sugar were hidden under bags of flour. In the rest, small batches of products with a total weight of 590 kg were transported by individuals in a suburban electric train.
The control measures in the border zone are carried out by specialists of the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Omsk Region in the format of interdepartmental interaction with the mobile units of the Omsk Customs.
By a Government Decree, the export of white sugar and raw cane sugar from the Russian Federation is prohibited from March 15 to August 31, 2022. ■ What to read next
