Temporary ban on import of poultry from EU to Russia in force

A temporary ban on import of poultry products from several European countries in connection with bird flu came into force February 8, according to the Rosselkhoznadzor.

The restrictions apply to poultry meat and finished products, as well as all kinds of poultry products, including feed, feed additives and former in the use of equipment for keeping, slaughter and butchering of birds.

The import of such products will not be from Austria, great Britain, Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, France, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Sweden.

In the case of poultry meat from the EU has a ban under the food embargo.
