Control documents will be approved for the import of 150,000 head of fattening male cattle, with GTIP code 01.02.29.49.00.00 (161-300 kg) and HS Code 01.02.29.99.00.00 (301-399 kg) from countries that are allowed to import live animals by Turkish Ministry, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announces.

2. Fattening cattle; Angus, Charolais (Charole), Limousin (Limusin), Hereford, Belgium Blue (Belgian Blue), Piedmentosa, Aubrac (Obrak), Gasconne, Salers, BlondeD'Aquitane, Senepol, Braford, Brangus, Simental (Fleckvieh) and Shorthorn breeds or they must be hybrids.
3. Applications will be made to the General Directorate of Food and Control until 31/08/2022 with the attached petition, Business Registration Certificate and Quarantine Place and Business Conformity Certificate. Applications after this date will not be considered (including postal delays).
4. Applicants must have at least 1 year business registration in the Ministry registration system (Türkvet). Only one application can be made for a business.
5. Applicants will be able to apply as much as the number of animals corresponding to the following rates according to their operating capacity. (An enterprise can apply for a maximum of 5,000 (five thousand) heads.)
6. The total number of animals applied for;
a. In case of more than 150,000 heads, the list will be published on the website of the General Directorate by reducing the same rate from each applicant.
b. In case of less than 150,000 heads, the remaining amount will be distributed from applicants to claimants. Those who will make a request for this will make their new requests within 5 working days. The list will be published on the website of the General Directorate.
7. Applications for control certificates should be made to the General Directorate of Food and Control until 19/09/2022. Applications after this date will not be considered. Application amount Article 6 a. This period expires on 13.09.2022 if it is completed according to the clause. ■
