Alaska Airlines begins seasonal flights between Philadelphia and Portland, Or.

The nonstop, daily flights will operate through August 26.
"Alaska Airlines continues to expand service from the West Coast by adding convenient, nonstop flights to popular destinations like Philadelphia," said John Kirby, vice president of capacity planning at Alaska Airlines.
"With this new flight, we now offer Rose City residents nonstop access to 58 destinations for both leisure and business, more than any other carrier serving Portland International Airport."
Alaska Airlines and Finnair are teaming up to give members of their frequent flyer programs the opportunity to earn miles/points on each other as Finnair expands its wings with new flights from San Francisco. ■
