Bechtel awarded EPC contract to build Rio Grande LNG project

Bechtel has been awarded the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract by NextDecade for the first phase of the Rio Grande liquefied natural gas (LNG) project.

The project will consist of three liquefication trains, two 180,000 cubic meter storage tanks, and two marine berths. There is an opportunity to build an additional storage tank and LNG truck loading facilities.
