Danone sues Russian watchdog for Prostokvashino inspection

Danone has filed a suit against the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Oversight to the Arbitration Court of the Volgograd Region challenging results of the service’s inspection at Prostokvashino dairy plant in December 2017, the court said.

The service said after the inspections that it discovered tetracycline antibiotics in milk produced by Prostokvashino.

The company denied the charges and said that the service violated the order of conduction of the checks.
