EasyJet buys Thomas Cook airport slots on Gatwick and Bristol

Easyjet announces that it has acquired Thomas Cook's slots at Gatwick Airport (12 summer slot pairs and 8 winter slot pairs) and Bristol Airport (6 summer slot pairs and one winter slot pair) for £36 million.

Contractual terms have concluded and the slots have been awarded to easyJet.

The acquisition by easyJet marks the first sale in relation to Thomas Cook's airports slot portfolio. London Gatwick was one of Thomas Cook's main bases, along with Manchester airport.
