EasyJet to hire 1,200 new flight attendants

EasyJet said it will increase the total size of its cabin crew to 8,100, as it seeks to hire more than 1,200 crew members in permanent and fixed-term positions.

This is the largest cabin crew intake in the airline's 21-year history.

Earlier this year, the Luton-based carrier revealed it was recruiting more than 450 pilots and providing opportunities for its first officers to be promoted into captain roles.

Shares in easyJet were trading down 0.8% at 1,265.00 pence on Tuesday.
