The J-45 is Gibson’s best-selling acoustic of all time. Nicknamed “The Workhorse” and first introduced in 1942, this iconic acoustic has become the cornerstone of our round-shoulder, dreadnought line.
Gibson released a new version of the J-45 Standard with rosewood back and sides that delivers all of the playing and sonic characteristics you’d expect from the world-renowned J-45 but with slightly fuller bass response and overtone complexity due to the rosewood body.
Also available as a left-handed model, these exceptional acoustic guitars come complete with an L.R. Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup and preamp system, making them stage and studio-ready from the moment you take them out of the included hardshell case.
