Herbalife goes to Washington, D.C. to explain its business

Herbalife said that a group of Herbalife independent members from 12 states, including will travel to Washington, D.C. and meet with their congressional representatives.

Herbalife members from 12 states, including: California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, New Mexico, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Utah will meet with their congressional representatives "to ensure they understand the value Herbalife brings to thousands of its members and their customers across the country."

“We appreciate the time our Herbalife members have taken to make their voices heard in Washington, D.C.,” said Ibi Fleming, senior vice president and managing director for Herbalife’s North American region. “Herbalife is proud of the positive impact we have in the lives of our members and their customers around the world.”

Of the states represented by fly-in participants, Herbalife has:

Over 100,000 members in California
Over 4,000 members in Connecticut
Over 55,500 members in Florida
Over 16,000 members in Illinois
Over 4,000 members in Kansas
Over 7,500 members in Massachusetts
Over 8,000 members in New Mexico
Over 17,000 members in New Jersey
Over 16,000 members in North Carolina
Over 900 members in South Dakota
Over 79,000 members in Texas
Over 4,500 members in Utah.
