The centre will be built on a 2 ha property in the city's Industrial Zone North and the investment is estimated to be worth 5-6 bln euros.

But much more importantly, the arrival of the global brand will attract more new investors, says city official Miroslav Jokic.

"John Deere has bought 2 ha of land in Industrial Zone North and paid around 15 mln dinars for it. Their plan is to build a logistics and distribution centre in the period to come to sell their products from, and they will also provide expert support in particular, spare parts to all those who have products from this manufacturer," Jokic told Tanjug.
