LS Cable and System got submarine cable supply deal in Denmark

LS Cable and System announcedthat it has entered into a 5 year framework agreement with global offshore wind leader Ørsted for the opportunity to supply high voltage export cables for offshore wind farms.

LS C and S has previously supplied cables for the world’s largest offshore wind farm Hornsea One and Two in the UK and has been contracted to supply the subsea cables for the Greater Changhua 1 and 2a Offshore Wind Farms in Taiwan.

Matthias Bausenwein, President of Ørsted Asia-Pacific, said: “The offshore wind market is growing fast, particularly in Asia Pacific.
