The well will be completed as a producer in the Vivian formation within the Bretana oilfield, onshore Peru.

The well be drilled to 3,040 metres total depth and will take up to 45 days to complete. It is part of a program of three new producers designed to boost production to around 5,000 barrels of oil per day by mid-2019.

The drilling plan will also test a secondary objective in the underlying Chonta formation, a producer of oil north of Bretana.
