Clearance sales at the locations will begin soon, with the stores closing by September.

Sears announced in January it was closing 150 stores and, in May, added at least 30 more to the shutdown list.

The latest list includes 16 Sears stores, 49 Kmart stores and seven auto centers. Dothan's other Kmart store closed last year.

The closures bring Sears' store count to about 1,200, down from 2,073 five years ago.
