Tesco grocery home shopping orders hit by technical glitch

Tesco's online grocery deliveries were held up by a technical glitch, Sky News reported, as the supermarket confirmed it was battling a problem after people took to social media to complain they were not getting their shopping.

Tesco said: "We're currently experiencing an IT issue which is affecting some Grocery Home Shopping orders.

"We're working hard to fix this problem and apologise to customers for any inconvenience this may cause," Sky News reported.

Sky News said fewer than 10% of orders are affected, with those hit being offered compensation on a case-by-case basis when they contact customer services online.
