Turkish Airlines extends flights suspension

Turkish Airlines is extending the suspension of all its flights by about a month due to the coronavirus outbreak, the air carrier said.

The restriction will be in force until May 28, the Turkish flag carrier said in a notice on Tuesday.

Previously, the carrier said that domestic flights will be suspended until April 20 and international flights will be halted until May 1.

In March, Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan ordered the suspension of all international flights to and from the country in an effort to contain the coronavirus outbreak.
