Verizon simplifies prepaid plans, introduces 2GB

Verizon is bolstering its prepaid plans with a new data bucket and making it simpler for prepaid customers to enjoy the benefits of the best network.

Verizon's new 2 GB prepaid plan is $40 per month and lets you stay connected with Always-On Data and unlimited international text from the U.S. to more than 200 countries. Pay on time? Carry over any unused high speed data to the next month.

The new 2 GB plan joins the 5 GB for $50 and 10 GB for $70 plans in Verizon's prepaid lineup.
