Yazaki to invest $30 million in Mexico, generate 875 jobs

The Japanese company Yazaki will generate 875 new jobs and invest around US$30 million in its plant in Guanajuato.Article continues below
This new investment was announced on the second day of a tour of Japan by the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo.
The State Governor met with the directors Yasuhiko Yazaki, Honorary President and Riku Yazaki, CEO President, accompanied by the operations team in the Americas of this automotive company, with whom he discussed the vision of technological development and innovation for its plants located in Guanajuato.
“This company is focused on the satisfaction of its personnel and on generating a positive impact in the communities where it operates. For this reason, we are pleased to announce that we will be generating 875 new jobs this year,” said Rodriguez Vallejo.
Yazaki Corporation is an independent manufacturer of automotive components first established in 1929 as Mitsuya Electric Wire, founded by Sadami Yazaki, and in 1941 was established as Yazaki Corporation.
In addition to automotive wire harnesses, it develops and manufactures gauges, electronic components and a host of other automotive products.
Yazaki has a global presence in 45 countries, 10 in the Americas, including plants located in the municipality of Leon and the Guanajuato Puerto Interior in the municipality of Silao. ■ What to read next
