Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona features stylized hour markers and counter rings. Subtle combinations of colours and finishes accentuate the contrast between the dial and the counters and their rings, bringing even greater visual harmony and a more modern demeanour to the face of the Cosmograph Daytona. On versions with a Cerachrom bezel in ceramic, the bezel is edged with the same metal as the case. On the version in 950 platinum, recognizable by its ice blue dial, the oscillating weight is made from 18 kt yellow gold and is visible to the wearer through the transparent case back in sapphire.
The Perpetual 1908 completely new timepiece responds to the challenge of a slimmer watch according to the Rolex. With the numerals 3, 9, 12 and its small seconds hand at 6 o’clock, the 1908 resolutely endows it with modernity. The dial is a model of elegance and sophistication: faceted hour markers in 18 kt yellow or white gold against an intense white or intense black dial. Protected by a domed sapphire crystal, it features a delicate minute track around the circumference.
The Rolex GMT‑Master II is available in two new versions, 18 kt yellow gold and yellow Rolesor, with a Cerachrom bezel insert in grey and black ceramic, an entirely new colour combination. The harmonious contrast between the gleaming gold of the Jubilee bracelet and the two colour bezel with its dark, muted tones evokes the path of the sun and the alternation of day and night. With its bidirectional rotatable bezel fitted with a 24 hour graduated monobloc Cerachrom insert, the Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II is recognizable at a glance.
The Explorer 40 mm model offers enhanced legibility. Simple and corrosion resistant and crafted from Oystersteel, an alloy specific to Rolex. It features satin finishes on the middle case, bracelet and clasp, and the light reflections from the polished flanks of the case. The middle case of this new model is crafted from a solid block of Oystersteel. Oystersteel offers exceptional sheen and their excellent properties are comparable to those of precious metals. ■
