Last few months we are dedicated to renovations. And last few weeks it was 40 Celsius outside, good weather to heart attack, but we where in full speed. First, we did some really urgent stuff in our cottage. You know: mowing (now I understand what does it mean "growing like a grass", painting summerhouse in courtyard and painting the fence.

(after we survived the temperatures), we transpose to our apartment. Not for resting, like normal people will do after three weeks of hardworking in the country. Now, we decided to redecorate the apartment. True story, scout’s honor. Old people would say - inactivity priest even kid baptize. We survived the heat, breezes, smell of diluents and paint - we will survive the final painting. But, happiness sometimes comes in very, very... small steps. In our case, it never comes. Well, you think, what is a punch line of this story? Wallpapers, people... Wallpapers.
Had I known earlier what I do know now, all the hard work will be dimidiated. You know those times in life when adrenalin overcomes your body and you have energy for everything? In those moods people often do some unusual things. They decide to move, they decide to travel to some exotic destination or just far away from home, they decide to buy a brand new car even when the old is still good, and, like us, to renovate an apartment. Well, we are in that kind of mood, and this is our argument. We redecorate like hell. Wallpapers are back in fashion! Maybe I should say it earlier without risking your breakdown. Now, when you finally know, and when I learned something new, we can all relax.
I have a strong need to share my story with you, because if you are in the mood and "must redecorate now" - stop. Stop and learn from less fortunate who's been too lazy to inform herself. But, maybe you are old-fashioned type who prefers painting the walls and games with colors, or maybe you don't want to complicate your life with colors and enjoy in clear and bright white walls. Whatever your choice is you'll work from dawn to dusk for days, like we do, and you will declare: It's OK. Nothing special, nothing new, nothing original, but nice and fresh. After weeks in painting white we said something similar. But, wallpaper people could say: I have a very original apartment. Every room is story by itself and have its own identity.
After many years of being "out", wallpapers, especially with relief surface are "in" once again. The France company Elitis produce more than hundreds of different types of wallpapers.
