There are many things that I like, some that I don't like, and just a few that I hate. But those rare examples I hate a lot. One of later is a cold bathroom in the morning, or even worse, a cold washbasin. I mean, I may sit in a snow, but if I feel something cold in the morning, I'm on the verge of nervous breakdown. Fortunately, the solution for that horrible problem exists and its home is in Italy.
You may leave the highway at the Modena North junction and take Tangenziale Sud (South Ring Nord in Italian), then drive along the Modena-Sassuolo connection road, and then follow the State Road 486 to Sassuolo. Then, you may turn right into Via Aldo Moro, and then you may make a left turn into Via Regina Pacis 39 Sassuolo. There you will encounter Hatria, a Marazzi Group company specialised in the production of sanitarware in china and fine fire clay.
Italy is the home of many fine designers and craftsmen, and Hatria is one of them. It is a company that nourishes the spirit of carefully made sanitary, yet it is enough open-minded to embrace the use of the new technologies. The great name of design connect the art and the craft. New styles and shapes, design and techno are the trademark of Hatria, but rich heritage remains preserved.
One of Hatria's products that warms my heart is Grandangolo. The full name is The Washbasin System Grandangolo and the proud designer is Nilo Gioacchini. Hatria cooperates with many great designers, but the work of Mr. Nilo I like very much. Why? Because Grandangolo looks absolutely fantastic, and it is - warm! The Grandangolo has a warming system, in English: It has warming countertop. The consequence is that you bathroom is alyways at the right temperature and there are no cold touches in the morning. Ever. Simple idea, yet the one that this world needed.
As their other products, The Grandangolo will enrich your bathroom, no matter how that bathroom looks. It has smooth and harmonious shapes that attracts the eye and makes the room nicer and warmer. It is compact because of slanted fronts, which in turn makes it easy to incorporate in a bathroom of any shape and almost any size. All the shapes in Grandangolo are defined by the long curved line which is a metaphor of space in perspective. The dynamic lines of the Grandangolo washbasin simply invite you to look at it and forget why you're there. Once you step into bathroom with Grandangolo it will be hard to go out in a cold, cold world. On Hatria's website there are many nice things, but warming washbasin I like the most. ■
