CVS Health Q3 earnings increased 22 percent

CVS Health announced a profit for its third quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $1.75 billion, or $1.64 per share. This was up from $1.43 billion, or $1.28 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 15.5% to $44.62 billion. This was up from $38.64 billion last year.
