Fiji Airways CEO Stefan Pichler revealed this would be made on February 23 while also adding that the airline wants to expand to meet a target of 1.346 million passengers travelling on Fiji Airways to Fiji next year.
"We are going to release our management accounts, the audited results for 2014 we hopefully will propose to the board a profit share for the staff because we are expecting exceptional results, we will propose to the board a dividend payment for shareholders because we have exceptional results," Pichler said.
Pichler explained that he could not elaborate further on the size of the dividend payout as they were yet to develop the management proposal. He also said Fiji Airways was expecting to open their new call centre at the end of the month.
"I'm just coming to hear from the board meeting of our newly formed joint venture which will provide additional jobs for Fijians which will go online by the end of this month. So we are growing, we are growing in a profitable way, we are growing jobs, we are growing destinations and we are growing passengers." ■
