Bank of France keeps growth forecast unchanged

The Bank of France kept its third-quarter growth forecast unchanged at 0.3% on the quarter.

The forecast is based on the central bank's monthly survey of business activity in September and it confirms expectations that the French economy will rebound in third quarter after a small dip in output in the second.

The Bank of France's monthly business survey for September showed that sentiment remained steady in construction, at 98, and in manufacturing, 98. The long-term average for the indicators is 100.

In services, the sentiment indicator rose slightly to 97 from 96.
