This involved taking account of all sources of employment statistics that had additionally become available until the time of calculation.
For the monthly employment figures, the recalculation resulted in year-on-year change rates which, for October and November, are by 0.1 percentage points lower than the results published earlier.
The annual result of 43,4 million persons in employment (national concept) and the year-on-year change rate of 1,0%, which were communicated in the press release of 2 January 2017 (No. 01/17), remained unchanged despite the recalculation.
