Seasonal and calendar adjusted retail sales volume in Turkey decreased by 0.6% with constant prices in March 2016 compared with the previous month.

In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 0.3%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales decreased by 0.4% and automotive fuel sales decreased by 1.9%.
Considering the details of the non-food sectors computers, books, telecommunications equipment sales decreased by 5.5%, electronic goods and furniture sales increased by 6.7%, textiles, clothing and footwear sales decreased by 0.6%, medical goods and cosmetic sales decreased by 4.3% and sales via mail orders and internet decreased by 0.8% compared with the previous month.

In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 5.3%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 4.3% and automotive fuel sales increased by 1.9%.
Considering the details of the non-food sectors computers, books, telecommunications equipment sales decreased by 2.8%, electronic goods and furniture sales increased by 18.0%, textiles, clothing and footwear sales decreased by 0.9%, medical goods and cosmetic sales increased by 8.7% and sales via mail orders and internet decreased by 26.0% compared with the same month of previous year.
