The overall Turkish export unit value index decreased by 2%

As compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year, the overall export unit value index decreased by 2% in September.

In the same month, compared to September 2015, the index for “food, beverages and tobaccoâ€, “crude materials (except fuels)â€, “fuels†and “manufactured goods (except food, beverages and tobacco)†decreased by 4.5%, 2.3%, 6.9% and 2.4%, respectively.
The overall export unit value index decreased by 3% in III. Quarter 2016, compared to the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.
The overall import unit value index decreased by 4.8%
As compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year, the overall import unit value index decreased by 4.8% in September.
The index for “food, beverages and tobaccoâ€, “crude materials (except fuels)â€, “fuels†and “manufactured goods (except food, beverages and tobacco)†decreased by 2.9%, 5.5%, 19.1% and 2.4%, respectively.
The overall import unit value index decreased by 6.7% in III. Quarter 2016, compared to the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.
The overall export volume index compared to the corresponding month of the preceding year decreased by 3.6% in September.
Compared with September 2015, while the index for “fuels†decreased by 13.6%, the index for “food, beverages and tobaccoâ€, “crude materials (except fuels)†and “manufactured goods (except food, beverages and tobacco)â€increased by 2.5%, 18.8% and 0.1%, respectively.
The overall export volume index decreased by 0.2% in III. Quarter 2016, compared to the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.
In September, the overall import volume index compared to the corresponding month of the preceding year increased by 4.3%.
While the index for “fuels†decreased by 10.2%, the index for “food, beverages and tobaccoâ€, “crude materials (except fuels)†and “manufactured goods (except food, beverages and tobacco)†increased by 22.6%, 26% and 3.8%, respectively.
The overall import volume index increased by 0.5% in III. Quarter 2016, compared to the corresponding quarter of the preceding year. ■
