Turnover in internal trade in Slovakia increased month-on-month in wholesale by 1,6% and in retail trade by 1.2%.

A decrease was recorded in accommodation by 5.1%, sale and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles by 1.1% and in food and beverage service activities by 0.2%.
Turnover in sale and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 11.9% as a result of the growth. Turnover declined in repair and maintenance of motor vehicles by 1.4%.
Compared with November 2015, turnover in wholesale rose by 5.6% in total. An increase was recorded in majority of activities, of which mainly in other specialised wholesale by 10.7%, wholesale of information and communication equipment by 25.5% and in wholesale of household goods by 7.1%.
A decrease was recorded in non-specialized wholesale by 7.6% and in wholesale on a fee or contract basis by 6.7%.
Turnover in retail trade increased by 3.9%. Higher turnover resulted mainly from a turnover increase registered in retail sale of other goods in specialised stores by 8.6%, retail sale of other household equipment in specialised stores by 6.5% and in retail sale in non-specialised stores by 1.2%. Turnover decreased only in retail sale via stalls and markets by 7%.
Turnover in accommodation was higher by 3.1%. Turnover in food and beverage service activities increased by 3.3%.
Turnover insale and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 17.3% as a result of the growth in sale of motor vehicles by 25.6%, and in sale of motor vehicle parts and accessories by 0.3%. Turnover in repair and maintenance of motor vehicles declined by 0.6%.
Total turnover in wholesale increased by 1.7%. It was higher mainly in wholesale of information and communication equipment by 17.1%, wholesale of household goods by 4.1% and in wholesale of food, beverages and tobacco by 3.5%.
Turnover was lower in wholesale on a fee or contract basis by 6% and in non-specialized wholesale by 2.1%
Turnover in retail trade increased by 1.%.
Higher turnover resulted from a turnover growth registered mainly in retail sale in non-specialised stores by 2%, retail sale of automotive fuel in specialized stores by 6.2% and in retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco in specialised stores by 18.2%.
Turnover declined mainly in retail trade not in stores, stalls or markets by 1.5%.
Turnover in accommodation increased by 11.8%. Turnover in food and beverage service activities rose by 2.7%. ■
