UK house price growth accelerates to 7.7 percent

If London and the South East were to be excluded, then prices rose by 5.8% over the 12 months to November 2015.
On average, house prices increased by 0.8% in month-on-month and seasonally adjusted terms. In November 2015, first-time buyers paid a price that was 7.4% higher on average than in November 2014. ■
