Amerigroup Nevada members can now access doctor with computer or mobile device

Amerigroup Nevada members have an easy and convenient way to see a doctor for non-emergency needs when their own doctor is not readily available, at no additional cost.

Members can now use their computer with a webcam, smartphone or tablet to have a live video visit with a US-based, board-certified doctor of their choice to discuss common health conditions from home, work or wherever they happen to be as long as they have internet access.
The doctors who see Amerigroup Nevada members using LiveHealth Online can assess a member’s condition, provide a treatment plan and even send a prescription to the pharmacy if needed.
For Spanish-speaking Amerigroup Nevada members, who want to interact with the app in Spanish and speak with a Spanish-speaking doctor, LiveHealth Online’s Cuidado Médico is also now available for non-emergency issues.
Additionally, a LiveHealth Online MedSuite Kiosk is available for Amerigroup Nevada members at the WELL CARE Services facility located at 5412 Boulder Highway in Las Vegas during their normal operating hours.
Doctors are available to see patients through LiveHealth Online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays. Amerigroup Nevada members have online visits using LiveHealth Online as a covered benefit under their health plan at no cost.
The LiveHealth Online MedSuite Kiosk, which is available to Amerigroup Nevada members in Southern Nevada, is equipped with biometric and peripheral devices, such as a digital thermometer, blood pressure monitor and dermatoscope.
This option provides convenience and additional diagnostic devises where Amerigroup members can connect with a doctor via LiveHealth Online. ■
