There are six hidden diseases which have symptoms that we can easily miss: diabetes type 2, heart diseases, melanoma, high blood pressure, glaucoma and high cholesterol. Today we will see three of them.
Millions of people around the world suffer from diabetes type 2 and many of them are not aware of that. This disorder usually appears as the result of bad nutrition and too less exercise. Food as sweets, bread, potato, or white rise disintegrates sugar in the body very fast. When an organism contains too much sugar, with time its cells lose the ability to properly use insulin. If diabetes type 2 is detected in an early phase it can be easily controlled with proper nutrition which means smaller input of carbohydrates and sugar. Pay attention to the following symptoms: thirst and frequent urination, extreme hunger, unusual loss or gain of weight, increased fatigue, irritability, blurry vision, dry skin, and repeating skin or gum infections.
Heart diseases are enemy No. 1 for both men and women. First sign of a heart attack, especially in women, often is not the strong pain in the chest as we all saw in the movies. The signs of the heart attack in women can involve bloated feeling, stomach or bowel disorders, pain in the back and hand, nausea and perspiration. All those symptoms can appear and disappear. If you have chest discomfort, especially in combination with one or more of the other signs, call a doctor or medical emergency because first five minutes from the beginning of the symptoms are the most important five minutes of your life. Regular exercise, healthy diet and not smoking can help reduce the risk of heart diseases and heart attack.
Melanoma appears in only four percent of all shapes of skin cancer, but it is responsible for even 80 percent of deaths. It will be wisely to visit dermatologist at least once a year to check your body. Early detection of melanoma is very important for successful treating. If it's early discovered it is possible that problem lies only in an atypical mole that still didn't developed in melanoma. If it is melanoma, it is probably surface melanoma that captured only upper part of the skin that is much easier to treat.
For Asian, African or Latin origin people skin examination is of great importance. In those people melanomas often appears on a nails or in genital area. It is recommended to all people to check less visible spots, especially for those ethnic groups. When you are checking your body pay attention to asymmetry (in moles of which one half is different from the other), discontinuity (edge of melanoma is often jaggy and improperly curved), colour (melanoma had often few colours inside one mole) and size (because melanoma continuously grows).
