2 dead after military helicopter crashes in Afghanistan

Two pilots were killed Thursday when their helicopter crashed in northern Afghanistan.

The MD-530 helicopter belonging to the Afghan Air Force crashed in Baghlan province, the country’s Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The crash occurred due to technical issues, the statement added.
