A 5.9 magnitude earthquake jolted West Sulawesi province in central Indonesia on Thursday, the meteorology and geophysics agency said

The quake struck at 13:35 p.m. Jakarta time (0635 GMT) with the epicenter 4 km northwest Majene district and a depth of 10 km.

The quake did not potentially trigger a tsunami. ■
