Air France Airbus A340 makes emergency landing in Isfahan

An Airbus A340 Air France Paris to Mumbai flight declared an emergency over Iran and landed on Isfahan's Shahid Beheshti Airport.

Director General of Isfahan Crisis Management Mansour Shishehforoush told IRNA that all 267 on board are safe and sound.

He said that the landing hour was 19:25 and there was no special problem in this respect.

French website ‘Express’ announced the flight from Paris to Mumbai disappeared after the aircraft began to unexpectedly descend near Isfahan, where it eventually landed.
