American Airlines flight makes emergency landing in Rochester

A mechanical issue is blamed for the emergency landing of an American Airlines flight at Rochester International Airport.

The plane being operated by SkyWest made the emergency landing around 4:45 Monday afternoon.

SkyWest said the flight from Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Chicago was diverted to Rochester, landed safely and it worked to help 65 passengers resume their travels. No injuries were reported.
