Crew member of Vietnamese vessel found injured off coast of Philippines

A crew member of a Vietnamese vessel was found injured during a fishing venture off the coast of Tawi-Tawi, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said today.

According to the PCG, personnel of the PCG Station in Western Tawi-Tawi found Dang Canh with a broken right limb and leg when they conducted a vessel inspection in the area.

“Personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Station in Western Tawi-Tawi assisted an injured crew member of a Vietnamese vessel with bow number KG91679TS during a fishing venture within its area of jurisdiction on 31 December 2019,” the PCG said over Twitter.
