According to the press release issued by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, arrivals from these countries are required to undergo more stringent entry requirements, whereas the Spanish region of Canary Islands and Campania in Italy are placed in the green category, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports.

“In Spain, the Canary Islands change from yellow to green in the travel guide. The same goes for the Campania region in Italy. This means that Danish travellers regardless of vaccination status can travel on holiday without having to be tested on their return to Denmark,” the press release noted.

Travellers reaching Denmark from green countries are completely free of any restrictions if they have been inoculated against COVID-19 with one of the vaccines authorized for use in Denmark or if they were previously infected with the virus.
