Indonesia's Mount Sinabung volcano erupts, ash five kilometres in sky

Indonesia's Mount Sinabung volcano has sent a cloud of hot ash up to five kilometres into the air.

No casualties were reported today, but people were to stay at least three kilometres from the crater, Indonesia's Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation Centre said.
