PIA flight makes dramatic emergency landing on Peshawar airport

A plane of Pakistan International Airlines made an emergency landing at the Peshawar airport on Monday after the captain received a warning of a bomb onboard.

PIA flight PK-305 was travelling from Karachi to Peshawar, according to PIA sources.

The threat came when the plane was near Peshawar. The plane made an emergency landing some distance from the terminal.

Airport security personnel searched the passengers and their luggage, but found nothing. The plane was also checked, but there were no explosive materials found.

The threat was termed fake.
