Quarter tonne of cocaine between bananas found in Spain

As reported on englishradionews.com, officials from the Policia Nacional have detained six people there, in connection with a drug trafficking operation, which brought cocaine from Central America to Spain hidden between bananas.

Officers discovered the gang operating in Estepona, and launched an investigation into the operation.

Over a quarter of a tonne of cocaine was discovered in raids, with six people being remanded in custody ahead of their trial.
