Romania donates over 50,000 doses of vaccines to Moldova

A further 50,400 doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines arrived in Moldova on 28 March, donated by Romania and delivered through the Civil Protection Mechanism of the European Union, within the framework of the Team Europe initiative.

The shipment follows Moldova's request for vaccines through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.

The European Commission coordinates and finances up to 75% of the costs for transporting the assistance.
