The Security Service of Ukraine has notified a member of Enerhodar City Council of Zaporizhzhia region of suspicion of crime.

This official voluntarily decided to cooperate with the enemy and headed the so-called ‘military and civilian administration in Enerhodar’.
The investigation established that the pseudo-official worked to establish the occupation regime and issued criminal orders, which enabled the occupiers to capture assets of Ukrainian businesses in the temporarily occupied territories.
Currently, the SSU is conducting an investigation into a large-scale appropriation of the property of large Ukrainian agricultural producers of Kamianka-Dniprovska district and Enerhodar worth over UAH 1,89 bln (USD 46,5 mln).
According to the investigation, the fake head of Enerhodar made a decision to abolish the entire structure of executive authorities of Enerhodar City Council.
At the same time, he endorsed the structure of the so-called ‘Enerhodar administration’, to which he ‘introduced’ representatives of illegal military formations and servicemen of russian armed forces. This ‘administration’ is entrusted with execution of the gauleiter’s further illegal decisions.
On May 17, 2022, he issued an order to carry out mandatory transfer of property and grain products from local agricultural enterprises to the occupation authorities.
In fact, it turned out to be a large-scale forced confiscation.
As a result, almost 140,000 tons of Ukrainian grain were seized from rightful owners and taken to the temporarily occupied Crimea and ports in Krasnodar region, Russia.
The pseudo-official has been notified of suspicion under 3 Articles of the CCU:
• 111-1.8 (collaborative activity, voluntary occupation by a citizen of Ukraine of a position in illegal judicial or law enforcement bodies created in temporarily occupied territory, which led to death of people or onset of other serious consequences);
• 111-2.1 (assistance to aggressor state);
• 438.1 (violation of laws and customs of war).
The investigation is ongoing to identify all the circumstances and persons involved in this criminal activity.
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Main Investigative Directorate with the support of the SSU Main Department for Counterintelligence Support of Critical Infrastructure and Combating Terrorism Financing under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office. ■
