Agents of the National Police, in a joint operation with the French National Police, have dismantled an international organization allegedly dedicated to drug trafficking between Spain and France.

It is a network of French origin that operated in our country where it was supplied through local drug suppliers.
Nine people have been arrested, three of them in Torremolinos and the remaining six in France, and three searches have been carried out in the same Malaga municipality. They used the Go Fast method, which consists of renting vehicles to cross the peninsula at high speed loaded with drugs to their destination.
The operation began at the beginning of this year when, through the existing coordination channels between the countries of Spain and France, the French authorities reported the presence of this criminal group in our country.
According to the data provided, the drug traffickers were making frequent trips to Spain, mainly to the Costa del Sol, where they established contacts that supplied them with drugs.
Likewise, for their transportation they mainly used rental vehicles with which they crossed the national territory by road until they reached their country through the Irún border crossing, where they had infrastructure on both sides.
With all this information, the researchers managed to detect several members of the French network when they were preparing to hold a meeting in Irun with the Spanish suppliers. A few days later, the agents again detected the presence of members of the French branch in our country, specifically on the Costa del Sol, to stock up on drugs.
After holding several meetings in Granada, they acquired a new batch of narcotic substance and returned to France. For this reason, the police, in a joint device, arrested these six people of French nationality, in addition to carrying out different searches in which 44 kilograms of cannabis, 600 grams of cocaine, €7,140 in cash and 4 vehicles were seized.
With respect to Spain, a police operation has been carried out that culminated in the arrest of three Spanish citizens in Torremolinos (Málaga), as well as the search of their three homes, in the same municipality, in which four kilograms of hashish have been seized. , three kilograms of marijuana and 3,400 euros in cash. ■
