Submarine cable glitch slows internet in Bangladesh

Internet users in Bangladesh are experiencing slow speed or outages due to a technical glitch in the second submarine cable.

Efforts are underway to carry out the necessary repairs, Moshiur Rahman, managing director of Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company said.

“Almost half the bandwidth supply comes from the second submarine cable. Therefore, the internet speed will be slower.”
