U.S. finalizes 20 year amendment to the suspension agreement on uranium from the Russia

This amendment extends the Agreement through 2040 and reduces U.S. reliance on uranium from Russia during that time period.
“This landmark agreement will contribute to the revitalization of American nuclear industry, while promoting America’s long-term strategic interests,” said Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross.
“It represents yet another success for the Trump Administration’s America First approach to international trade agreements.” ■
