On a press release, Angola Telecom announced that along with the consortium of associated firms, it works intensively to restore all features through the SAT-3 submarine cable, damaged on January 16 in the section between Libreville (Gabon) and Cacuaco (Angola), which harms several African countries.
The entity regretted the inconvenience caused to customers and promised to update the information about the incident in due course.
Upon failure, Angola Cables said it would maintain the operation of services although with limitations through the Angola-South Africa and Angola-Brazil-America-Europe lines through its SACS and Monet cables. ■
