Nissan Mexicana dominates Mexican market
This is higher than the figure recorded in the first five months of 2019, when Nissans market share stood at 20.5%.
It is worth noting that during May of this year, Nissan sold 17,120 new units, representing a decrease of (-)13.7% compared to 2019.
However, the automotive industry is further away from recovering pre-pandemic levels than the Japanese company, registering a decrease of (-) 16.3%.
The Japanese brand has similar figures in terms of automotive production. In the first five months of the year, Nissan Mexicana manufactured 248,551 units, representing 18.6% of the industrys total production, which stood at 1,331,746 vehicles. ■
